Garden State on Your Plate: Lunchtime Chef's Tasting

A chef from Princeton University Dining Services will prepare recipes for tastings for the students, parent volunteers and faculty. The featured fruit will be apples from Terhune Orchards. This lunchroom tasting is an extension of last year’s “Garden State on Your Plate” program, a farm-to-school pilot program, funded by a grant from the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation. The program was designed to feed the students’ needs for fresh food and to begin to link for them the food they eat to the Garden State and to the larger world.
