GSOYP: Princeton Day School
For spring of 2015, we welcome PDS into the Garden State on Your Plate family. We, with the assistance of Julia Wong, look forward to working with PDS Garden Coordinator Pam Flory and Chef Brian Mochnal and Chef Mason to explore the logistics of expanding Garden State on Your Plate into other schools around the state.
Here is what PDS plans for the spring tasting on April 22:
Tasting will be available for all students.
GSOYP and the tasting will be introduced the week before in the assemblies for each division, Lower, middle and upper.
Pam will informally introduce and talk about the tasting in garden class and show each class the small asparagus patch in the garden.
Asparagus will be offered two ways for contrast: plain with free choice of butter and lemon
PreK, K, 1 and 2 will have the tasting and parents will be asked to help.
We will come up with a one page exit interview that parents can help with.
We would like to do entry and exit interviews for 4th, 5th and 6th.
