Join us as we build a vibrant,
passionate and festive
community around food
WE ARE CURRENTLY WORKING TO:
fund garden educators at Princeton’s four elementary schools
at-risk children to chefs, farmers and artisan producers through hands-on cooking demonstrations and palate education opportunities in partnership with the YMCA-Princeton Young Achievers after-school program
a instructional manual for creating in-school chef demonstrations, farmer visits
and fresh, local produce tastings in New Jersey schools
the maintenance and use of school gardens and school cafeterias as classrooms
self-reliance and independence through JW Iron Chef, an after-school program that uses the middle school gardens as source and inspiration for teaching cooking, palate education and general food literacy — and linking the Princeton Public Schools to its own community.
a community forum that brings together residents and professionals working
to link food, the environment, and the next generation’s vitality.
