About Princeton School Gardens Cooperative

The Princeton School Gardens Cooperative (PSGC) is a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization that fosters garden- and food-based education in the classroom, cafeteria and community. The Princeton School Gardens Cooperative uses food to connect students to their bodies, to each other, to their families and communities, to classroom curriculum, and to the world we share.

Our Goal

We envision every high school graduate (and by extension, their parents) leaving with a good measure of civic awareness, self-reliance and food security: All can grow a salad, read a label, set a table, cook for themselves, and nurture their friends and family – and understand that their food choices shape their futures.
