Ingredients
- 4 asian pears peeled and quartered
- 1 teaspoon ghee or olive oil
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 teaspoon lemon juice
- 2 tablespoons toasted pecans, or toasted rolled oats, or granola, chopped
Directions
- In a heavy-bottomed saute pan, heat ghee or olive oil on a medium high heat until it begins to sizzle.
Add quartered pears. - Caramelize pears on all sides, about two minutes per side.
- Sprinkle with vanilla and lemon juice. Saute for two or three minutes.
- Remove from heat and scatter pecans over the fruit.
